New Building

Luria Academy will be moving into a new facility for the Fall 2009 Semester.

Plans have been finalized for the school to move to a new larger space currently under construction at 238 St. Marks Place near Vanderbilt Ave.

The space is in the heart of Prospect Heights, walking distance from Prospect Park, Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, and the Brooklyn Museum of Art. It is also steps away from the St. Marks Community Garden and the Underhill Playground.

Our school will occupy the first two floors of the building. In addition to four classrooms, we will have a multi-purpose room/indoor gym. Both floors will lead to an expansive outdoor yard with space for play and gardening.

The space is being built to our specifications and will retain the Luria aesthetic of large open rooms full of natural light, set in natural tones.
